Projected Annual Session Calendar

Outlined below is BECOR’s intended calendar for sessions throughout the session year, which runs from September to June. Note that the delivery type of each session (i.e. in-person Lunch & Learn or webinar) could be switched from one format to the other, to suit the topics and availability of speakers for each month’s session. Despite this flexibility, at least four sessions each year will be a Lunch and Learn and at least four sessions will be a webinar.

Aside from December and January, sessions will usually be on the third Wednesday of the month. However, some exceptions might occur to suit the availability of speakers. Any variations to the schedule below will be announced at least one month in advance. In addition, special announcements will be issued for any other event which arises, including for an event from another group (OBEC, CSC, etc) which BECOR periodically helps support.

Total Annual Credits = 17 to 24

  1. All Lunch & Learn sessions will run from about noon to 3:00 PM, including networking time, hot buffet lunch, and short mid-session break.
  2. Most webinars will run from noon to 1 PM, except to suit presenter availability.
  3. Any regular webinar or Lunch & Learn could be replaced with a Field Trip, instead of a Field Trip being in addition to the above webinar and Lunch & Learn program.
  4. April sessions will always be a webinar, with the session delivered by BECOR or OBEC, with BECOR presenting on even-numbered years and OBEC presenting on odd-numbered years.
    1. OBEC delivered webinars may run from 5 PM to 6 PM.
  5. Half-Day sessions will run from about 11:45 AM to 4:30 or 5 PM, and provide 3 to 4 ConEd credits.
    1. Where possible, we will add a second Half-Day session in February or March, instead of a regular Lunch & Learn session.
    2. Occasionally (maybe every second year), we will hold a Full-Day session instead of a Half-Day.
